Every wedding reception is a special event and deserves to be treated as if it is the only one that has ever taken place. My philosophy when working with you is to offer my experience as a DJ/Entertainer while allowing you to have the reception of your dreams.
I grew up in Indiana and traveled extensively after leaving home. I play guitar and sing and have been entertaining in some fashion or another for the past 28 years. Along the way, I began DJ’ing for various companies, bars & clubs. These experiences along with other life experiences have provided me the ability to adapt to all types of groups of people.
I started Stars N Bars Music in 2003. Since beginning, Stars N Bars has grown based on it’s reputation in the community. We are recognized as one of the top DJ services in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. We have also performed at weddings as far away as Dallas, TX.
In addition to weddings, we also offer Karaoke and DJ services for private parties and at various bars and clubs around Kansas City. We emcee and entertain at more corporate events than most other DJ companies. Check out our Karaoke page to see where we’re performing on a weekly basis.
Another passion of ours is our involvement in the community. I believe it is important for businesses to give back to the community in which they do business. From the very beginning Stars N Bars Music has provided services for many charitable organizations. Organizations such as Missouri Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Abbey’s Run For The Heart, Following In Sam’s Footsteps, SafeHome, Heartstrings, and many, many more.
